- The Microelectronics Laboratory of the University of Bergamo is a design and testing center for innovative devices and integrated circuits in advanced semiconductor technologies.
- The research programs are focused on electronic instrumentation and on sensors and signal processing systems in industrial and scientific applications.
- Using advanced software tools for device, circuit and system simulation and modern test instruments we design and characterize analog, digital and mixed-signal integrated circuits and semiconductor sensors in nanoscale technologies.
- The Microelectronics Laboratory participates in international research projects in partnership with U.S. and European scientific institutions and semiconductor industries, such as Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Chicago, Illinois), CERN (Geneva, Switzerland), Max Planck Institute - Semiconductor Laboratory (Munich, Germany), Italian Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN), Institute for Scientific and Technological Research (Trento, Italy), and STMicroelectronics (Milan, Italy).
